This app is all about a poem called The Chaos which is a kind of ode to English pronunciation. The poem presents the unpredictability of English pronunciation is an ironic way showing that a certain letter combination may as well have a few different pronunciations. The starting page of the app has 17 tiles. By tapping one of the tiles, the user gets to the corresponding stanza of the poem and it reads it out.

This Windows Store Application helps the user practice some business English related words by using the flash card method. The starting page of the app shows the different flash cards the user can choose from. There are twenty altogether. By clicking or tapping one of the cards the user gets to the corresponding page showing a definition in the middle and the user should click or tap the correct business term corresponding to the definition. Provided that the user clicks or taps the correct business term the background colour of it turns green, otherwise red indicating the wrong answer. Each page of my application supports all orientations and views: landscape, portrait, landscape-flipped, portrait-flipped, snapped and filled.

The starting page of my app shows the different pages containing English phrasal verbs in alphabetic order. Each page contains fifteen phrasal verbs except for page 5 which contains five. By clicking or tapping one of the pages, the user gets to the corresponding page of the app. There is a definition for each phrasal verb, explaining the meaning of it and there are 3 options after each definition and the user should choose the correct phrasal verb. After clicking or tapping the one the user thinks is correct, a small dialog box appears to indicate whether it's right or wrong.
